The staff finished their training on Thinking Maps today and Mrs Mellon and Miss Saltwell got straight on with thinking about how we could start to use these across a range of subjects in school. Parents may have seen a few Thinking Maps coming home to support pupils home learning and can learn more about them by popping into school to have a look at our display or a chat with the staff. Thinking Maps are a specific set of graphic organisers that can be used in classroom settings, or "visual teaching tools that foster and encourage life-long learning," as well as tools that provide students with the skills to be "successful thinkers, problem solvers and decision makers.
